Authorities say four teenagers were killed and another was injured in a crash Saturday morning in Allegany County.
The identities of those who died were released Sunday morning—Rebecca L. Earner, 16, Ambra E. Eddleton, 16, Justin D. Carpenter, 14 and Krystin L. Wolfanger, 14.
State Police say their vehicle ran a stop sign at an intersection at 4:30 a.m. in the Town of Burns and crashed into an embankment and a tree.
The injured teen was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester in stable condition.
The Dansville Central School District in Livingston posted a statement on its website, saying three of the deceased victims and the injured passenger were students at Dansville High School.
Counselors will be at the high school Sunday, Monday and Tuesday to support students and staff.
