One man is dead while another was saved in a boating accident on Lake Ontario off the Orleans County shoreline Saturday. Authorities say their boat began taking on water while the two men were fishing and started sinking. They were wearing life jackets and spent about two hours in the water before they were spotted.
Rescuers arrived and were unable to revive one of the boaters. He was pronounced dead.
The other man was treated for exposure.
