Niagara SPCA has a new Executive Director. He is North Tonawanda native and nonprofit executive Tim Brennan, and he plans to start work September 1. The Niagara Falls no-kill organization announced in February that current Executive Director Amy Lewis was leaving to pursue other interests. Lewis will be working with Brennan over the next month to help ensure a smooth transition.
“Tim has an excellent background in fundraising; paired with his love and passion for animals and animal welfare, I am confident he will continue to not only uphold Niagara SPCA’s no-kill mission, but build upon the groundwork that has been laid and lead the shelter into the future," said Lewis. "I cannot think of a better person to pass the torch to. There are great things ahead with Tim leading the organization.”
Brennan is currently the Chief Development Officer for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Buffalo and teaches courses at Buffalo State College on development for nonprofits. He previously held posts at D’Youville College as its Vice President of Institutional Advancement and at The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care as its Vice President for Marketing and Network Development.
