The list of activities at Canalside this summer includes a birthday bash for the popular waterfront destination this Memorial Day weekend.
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the restored Erie Canal Harbor and summer programs at Canalside.
Jon Dandes, the president of Canalside Managment Group, said visitors can expect a "mix of new events and activities, coupled with the things that we know were successful last year."
The popular food stand Clinton's Dish has been expanded and features a new menu. The nearby beer garden area has been tripled in size. The list of new activities includes Buffalo on Display, featuring local musicians performing on the Boardwalk, and the return of a movie night.
"Canalside will host hundreds of of programs and activities, along with many special events for everyone to enjoy Buffalo's waterfront," said Erie Canal Harbor Development President Tom Dee. "We have delicious food choices, fitness, history, dance and music activities, and many of the favorites are returning."
