One man is dead after a rollover crash in Orchard Park about 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Orchard Park Police say it happened on Taylor Road near the Route 219 overpass.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found a pick-up truck overturned in a drainage ditch, partially submerged in water. Hazmat teams also responded to the scene because of fluid leaks from the truck into the standing water.
Officer Joseph Kadi and several passing motorists extricated the unresponsive man from the truck and tried to resuscitate him, but they were unsuccessful. The man was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim's name is not being released at this time.
