Town of Tonawanda Police are investigating a hit and run accident that involved a person in a motorized wheelchair. The victim was struck along Vulcan Street near the General Motors plant on Friday evening. The driver who struck the wheelchair drove away. The victim was transported to ECMC with head and chest injuries and is listed in critical condition.
