The National Weather Service has posted a winter weather advisory through 7:00 Sunday evening for Erie, Niagara, Orleans and Genesee Counties. There is also an advisory for Chautauqua County through noon.
Forecasters say there will be a mix of rain and freezing rain throughout the day, making for some slippery driving conditions. Up to a tenth-of-an-inch of icing is possible.
The precipitation will begin as freezing rain in Chautauqua County before changing to all rain Sunday afternoon.
Cattaraugus, Wyoming and Allegany Counties will be free of any freezing precipitation with just rain in the forecast.
