It's Kid Fest weekend at the WNED studios downtown. Day two hours are noon to 4:00pm.
Hundreds turned out Saturday to see favorite characters from PBS Kids shows, including Curious George and Nature Cat.
Jonathan Allen brought his two-year-old daughter Natalie. Allen said Kid Fest offered Natalie a chance to develop certain skills.
"Honestly, I'm seeing her interaction with the characters and other people, her being social, working on her manners," Allen said.
Andy Hollander was one of the kids who was having a great time.
"I like it all. You get free stuff. You can spin the wheel," Andy said.
There are also live performances for the kids, plus a coloring contest, crafts and face painting.
Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for children.
