Salamanca city schools will be closed Monday because of student and staff illness.
District officials say all school buildings will be closed from 6:00 Sunday evening through 6:00 Tuesday morning so that classrooms and common areas can be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. There will be no access to any district buildings during this time, including offices.
Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday.
