Cuomo describes Trump vulgarity as "ugly" and "repulsive"

Governor Andrew Cuomo says President Trump's use of an expletive to describe some poor nations across the world was ugly, disgusting and repulsive.

After a public event Friday morning on Long Island, Cuomo said the vulgarity the Republican president used Thursday during a private meeting with lawmakers on immigration shows Trump "doesn't really understand what this country is all about."

"Immigration made America," Cuomo said. "We put up a sign. We invited the poor. And they came."

Cuomo said generations and generations of hard-working immigrants like his grandparents are the story of America.
