The only women’s hall of fame for transportation in the world is close by and run by the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum. They held their second ever induction ceremony last night. Among those honored include Joan Villeneuve board chairman of Villeneuve Automotive Museum in Montreal and mother of Jaques Villeneuve, Formula 1 champion driver. Hamburg native Dianne Craig was also inducted. She is currently the Director of U.S. Sales for Ford.

Museum Founder and Executive Director James Sandoro says his museum is focused on honoring women in the field of transportation.

"I'm on the board of directors of all the car museums in the world, the world forum. Not one museum has any features or anything like this. We researched all that before we decided to go ahead and have a permanent gallery. Ours is permanent.”

Sandoro says donations make the displays at the museum possible. They’ve received everything from dresses to mannequins to create what’s there now.
