AMBER Alert canceled, 12-year-old Cattaraugus County girl found safe

UPDATE: The AMBER Alert for McKenzie Wilson, 12, has been canceled. Authorities say she was found in Farmersvile and is unharmed.

An AMBER Alert has been issued for a child abduction in the Town of Lyndon in Cattauragus County, north of Olean.

State Police are looking for 12-year-old McKenzie Wilson. She is believed to have been abducted by 18-year-old Joshua Monette and 16-year-old John Harvey.

Wilson is a white female with straight, blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 6 inches and weighs about 100 pounds. Wilson was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and cowboy boots with pink on the top of them.

Monette is a white male with short, black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds and was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, boots, black shirt and carrying a black duffle bag. Harvey is a white male with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve multi-colored t-shirt with a Superman emblem, jeans and black sneakers.

The abduction occurred near Shady Lane in Lyndon around 5 a.m. Tuesday.

A red Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen from the vicinity of the abduction, license plate number CXA5836. The truck has a black bow tie on the front grill and an extended cab. It was last seen traveling southeast, possibly heading toward the Allegany Mountains.

Authorities believe the child is in imminent danger, based on the circumstances in which she was taken. The suspects are believed to be armed with handguns.
