Before the region has fully recovered from last week's damaging wind storm, the National Weather Service is cautioning about another severe weather event. A Winter Storm Watch will be posted from Monday evening through Wednesday evening for all of Western New York. There is the potential to see more than one foot of snow. Steady winds could also cause periods of limited visibility.

A strong weather system is expected to affect all of the northeast during the course of the week.
