The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for southern Erie, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties that will be in place until 7 o'clock Sunday evening. Through that period as much one foot of new snow could fall south of Buffalo while as much as 2 feet of snow could accumulate in the Southern Tier regions.
Winds will increase causing blowing and drifting snow along with periods of limited visibility.
