The Buffalo Police Department says there's been another incident of a man posing as a service worker who tried to gain entry to a household.
Saturday night, a man claiming to be a Time Warner Cable employee attempted to enter a house on Gatchell Street. He was wearing a Time Warner Cable shirt and had an ID. The suspicious occupant called the cable company and was told the man was a fraud.
The suspect had fled the scene by the time police arrived.
On Thursday, a man posing as a utility worker did gain access to a home on Normal Avenue where he tied up a female occupant and stole cash and personal property.
