The United States Postal Service is preparing for the busy holiday season by extending Saturday hours today and next weekend. The Main Post Office on William Street in Buffalo will be open until 5 PM as will the Amherst Branch on North Bailey Avenue. The Hamburg Post Office on Camp Road will be open until 3, and the Niagara Falls Lasalle Station on Niagara Falls Boulevard will receive customers until 4.
The busiest day for the postal service will be Monday the 19th when more than 600 million letters, cards and packages will be processed nationwide.
