The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is alerting the public that an emergency training drill will be held tonight at 6 PM at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. The drill is mandated by the FAA, and it will involve emergency vehicles and first responders from a number of area departments. The test attempts to replicate an aircraft landing in inclement weather.
Those visiting the airport should not be alarmed by the activities.
