The Ken-Ton School District has issued a warning to parents and students about a suspicious person. Town of Tonawanda Police informed the district of two incidents.
One occurred Tuesday in the Sheridan Drive/Parkedge Avenue area. A 14-year-old was approached by a white male driving in a blue vehicle and made a threatening remark.
Another incident occurred on Monday in the Stairn/Englewood Avenues area where a man made comments while passing a bus stop, again in a blue vehicle.
The man is believed to be 35 to 40-years of age and described as have balding, blond hair and a scruffy appearance. The vehicle is possibly a minivan or TrailBlazer.

Important Message for Parents & Guardians
The Ken-Ton School District has been informed by police of two suspicious incidents that have occurred in the Town of Tonawanda. One occurred yesterday in the Sheridan Drive/Parkedge Avenue area. A 14-year-old was approached by a white male driving a blue vehicle who made a threatening remark. He was described as between 35 and 40 years of age with blond hair and a scruffy appearance. Another incident occurred in the Starin/Englewood Avenue area on Monday. A while male described as having balding blond hair was reported to have made comments while passing bus stops in a blue vehicle. In both cases, the vehicle was described as blue, possibly a minivan or TrailBlazer, and the individual was described as a while male with blond hair.
All parents and guardians are asked to remind their children to never accept a ride or any other offer from a stranger and to report any such activity to Town of Tonawanda Police immediately by calling 911 or 876-5300.
