Tuesday will mark the 26th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, a law that made discrimination against people with disabilities illegal.
To celebrate and raise awareness Western New York Independent Living hosted the Disability Pride Celebration and Parade on Sunday at Delaware Park near the Buffalo Zoo. The festivities began that morning with a parade and continued until 5 p.m.
Admission was free and all people with disabilities were invited to attend.
