This weekend the Taste of Buffalo takes over the downtown region. Fifty restaurants, 7 wineries and more than 450,000 people are expected to be on hand. There will be an international flavor to the offerings, as Indian, Polish and Caribbean dishes will be among the culinary creations. Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will be serving as a judge in selecting the best of the offerings. New this year will be a kale eating competition on the steps of City Hall Saturday afternoon.
The festival takes place today from 11 AM until 9PM and tomorrow from 11 AM until 7 PM.
