Sabres GM Tim Murray responds to Kane allegations

Buffalo Sabres General Manager Tim Murray says it's frustrating that the latest controversy surrounding forward Evander Kane became public before all the facts are in. The allegations surrounding Kane involve some sort of disturbance at a Chippewa bar early Friday morning.

At a news conference following the end of the NHL draft in Buffalo Saturday, Murray said he's taking a wait and see approach.

"The police will investigate," Murray said. "There will be evidence or there won't be evidence."

Kane was also the subject of a sexual assault allegation last December in a case that was eventually closed with no charges filed.
