Concerns grow over impact of Buffalo Billion investigation

It's not really clear what Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara is probing in his look into Governor Cuomo's inner circle but there is certainly some concern about the effect of the investigation of the Buffalo Billion on projects paid by that fund.

With two of the legendary "Three Men In A Room" on their way to prison, the U.S. Attorney is looking at people around the governor, the third man in the room. One of them, Joe Percopo, was a key man for this governor and for his father and is regarded as an enforcer for the Cuomo agenda.

"That's the problem," said state Assemblyman Ray Walter.

"That's what happens when you have a governor who wants to control all of economic development from the second floor of the Capitol Building and not just leave it up to the market and create an atmosphere where all businesses can thrive rather than picking winners and losers."

Walter says there has to be some concern about Solar City because the company has never made a profit and founder Elon Musk specializes in using public money to pay for his plans.

State Assemblywoman Crystal Peoples-Stokes also expressed concern.

"I just hope that it does not delay the Buffalo Billion. It has done so far wonders for our community and I just don't want it to stop."
