One day before the New York primary, both Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton will make campaign appearances in Buffalo.Mr. Clinton will make two stops in Upstate New York tomorrow on behalf of his wife Hillary's campaign. He'll appear at a Get Out The Vote phone bank at the Clinton campaign headquareters on Seneca Street in Buffalo at 10:30 Monday morning, followed by a 2:15 appearance at a similar phone bank in Rochester.
Buffalo police continue their preparations for a Monday night rally for Trump at First Niagara Center. A police spokesman says they've been informed at least three parking locations near the arena will be closed to the public, including the First Niagara Center parking ramp, the parking lot for the HSBC Atrium, and the Buffalo News parking lot.
Police continue to urge those attending the Trump rally to take public transportation, and to car pool if driving. Streets around First Niagara Center will close tomorrow at noon and will remain closed for some time after the event ends.
