Arrests made for Hit and Run at Gates Circle

Buffalo Police have arrested three people in connection with Saturday morning's hit and run accident at Gates Circle.

A 30-year-old Buffalo female,  a 21-year- old female of Wales, NY and a 23-year-old Buffalo male are all charged with Unauthorized use of a vehicle, Criminal possession of stolen property and Criminal mischief. The three suspects fled the scene after crashing a stolen vehicle at Gates Circle in Buffalo before 8 a.m. The suspects  were found later by police in the Northwest District and taken into custody.

Damages to Gates Circle include the fountain area and light standards. The Department of Public Works officials estimate the cost to be approximately $10,000.
