Buffalo man faces several charges after lying to Police

What began as just a traffic stop in Orchard Park turned into a number of charges and infractions for a Buffalo man.

44-year-old Christopher Reimer was pulled over by Orchard Park Police Friday night for driving a loud vehicle with a missing brake light. Reimer gave police a false name and upon further investigation he was determined to have an outstanding arrest warrant from Buffalo, a suspended drivers license with four suspensions on it and a court order that stated he was not to contact the woman who was currently in the vehicle with him.

Reimer was arraigned in Orchard Park after facing several charges and vehicle infractions. Among the charges were False personation, Aggravated unlicensed operation in the 2nd degree and Criminal contempt in the 2nd degree. Reimer was sent to Erie County Holding Center with $5,000 bail.
