An overnight shooting on the city's eastside leaves one woman dead and another injured. Buffalo Police say the two women were struck by gunfire in a home on the first block of Chester Street near Woodlawn Avenue.
The shooting occurred just before 1 a.m. The deceased is a 28-year-old woman. The second victim was treated at ECMC and has been released. Buffalo Police homicide detectives are investigating and say the incident appears to be not random in nature.
