WBFO News

A second case of rabies in Western New York this year has been identified. A division of the Niagara County Department of Health  has confirmed that a recently killed raccoon was infected. The raccoon was shot by a Youngstown pet owner when it began to fight with the man's dog. The dog was treated and is fine.

Authorities warn residents not to to feed feral cats or dogs and not to approach or attract wild animals.
