Langworthy endorses Donald Trump for president

WBFO News

Erie County Republican Committee Chairman Nicholas Langworthy announced his endorsement of Donald  Trump Thursday.

His endorsement came after former presidential candidate Mitt Romney publicly criticized the Republican front-runner. Langworthy tells WBFO News he believes Romney’s comments will only increase the number of Trump supporters.

"I support Donald Trump for president. I endorse him," Langworthy said. "I think Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee of our party. I think he will continue to win states.  He's capturing a mass crowd of enthusiasm."

Langworthy says Romney’s comments has disrespected the public, and that he sees undecided voters switching over to Trump’s side.
