On Sunday Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the launch of a new public service announcement that addresses the disease of addiction.

The 30-second PSA is available in English and Spanish and will feature recovering New Yorkers who discuss their misuse. It will also inform New Yorkers that help is available. Cuomo says this campaign is another effort to fight substance abuse and inform the public that there is help toward recovery.

The PSA will debut Sunday during the Super Bowl on CBS and be aired statewide through television and digital media outlets beginning February 15.
