The Department of Public Works facility needs quite the touch up. But instead of spending dollars for repairs at each location, Mayor Byron Brown is pushing for funds to consolidate them into one new facility.

Mayor Brown says one facility would save money, be more efficient and allow them the ability to partner with other local municipalities and potentially, even the New York State DOT. The proposal is supported on a state level by Tim Kennedy and Marc Panepinto.

The project is estimated to cost $60 million but they are hoping that $30 million towards phase one will get approved in the state budget.
