To ease parking in the Elmwood Village this holiday season, the City of Buffalo is rolling out a new shuttle service.
The holiday shuttle is being sponsored by Delaware District Councilmember Joel Feroleto. He says it will run from noon until midnight on four Saturdays, starting November 28.
"The City of Buffalo has waived parking fees at Gallagher Ramp next to Children's Hospital. So someone can park at Gallagher Ramp, get on the shuttle, which will stop at seven different locations on Elmwood Avenue, go to a restaurant for lunch, go shopping, get back on the shuttle and then go back to their car, which is parked for free," Feroleto said.
To further boost holiday traffic for shops and restaurants in Buffalo, Mayor Byron Brown says parking meter enforcement will be suspended citywide on Black Friday and on December 23, 24 and 31.
