The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo held its first "Blue Mass" at 10:30 this morning at St. Joseph Cathedral. The special Mass honored first responders who live in the diocese, including fire, law enforcement and emergency medical services personnel.First responders assisted in the Mass, and the Greater Buffalo Fire Fighters Pipe & Drums provided music. Bishop Richard J. Malone, who presided at the Mass, says this will be an annual event.
