Cuomo establishes legacy for Gabay
The tragic loss of a colleague and administrative assistant has moved Governor Cuomo to establish a pair of public benefit programs. A scholarship and a fellowship will be created honoring Carey Gabay. Gabay was killed when caught in the crossfire between gangs earlier this month in New York City.
Five scholarships will be awarded annually to students in the SUNY system, and the fellowship will aid attorneys interested in public service.
