Nearly four years after the Dillon Courthouse was vacated, the property could be brought back to life.
The General Services Administration is seeking to dispose of the seven-story building across Niagara Square from Buffalo's City Hall.
"Senator Schumer and I want to assure, especially given what's happening in downtown Buffalo today with all the activity, and all very positive activity, that GSA selects a developer that's going to do something with that property that's consistent with the great resurgence of downtown Buffalo," said Rep. Brian Higgins.
Higgins and Schumer are also pushing the GSA to not only consider the price, but the long-term community benefits of selling the building and the developers's ability to deliver on their goals.
