Hochul educates college students on Yes Means Yes law

New York has become the second state in the U.S. to have mandated college campus policies that require clear consent before sexual intercourse.

Lt. Governor Kathy Hochul says it's important  that students are informed about their rights and responsibilities under the "Yes Means Yes" law.

The new legislature fights against sexual violence on college campuses, grants amnesty for alcohol violations among witnesses who report assaults  and creates a Bill of Rights for victims. Hochul plans to continue her effort to educate students on the new state law.

She will visit Pace University in New York City on Monday.
