Several hundred job seekers packed an informational session in Buffalo about opportunities at Solar City.
The company plans to hire upwards of 1500 workers for its so called "gigafactory" in South Buffalo.
Greg Gawley says he mainly he stopped by because he's interested in what's going on in the city.
"It's been a long time since there's been something to bring the community on a large scale," said Gawley, who described how as a Lackawanna resident he had a close up look as Bethlehem Steel shut its doors.
"A plant that will last with a legacy is a great idea. Something that Buffalo really could use."
