A banking scam is targeting residents in a southern suburb. Orchard Park Police are reporting that a person is posing as a Key Bank representative. They are calling customers to report that an account is overdrawn. The scammer leaves a message providing a number to call for customers to leave account numbers and other information for resolving of the situation.
Key Bank is advising anyone with questions about an account to contact a bank branch directly.
