Mick Jagger spotted at Buffalo's Lombardo restaurant

WBFO News photo by Eileen Buckley

Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger was spotted in North Buffalo Thursday night. Jagger dined in a late night meal at Ristorante Lombardo on Hertel Avenue.

WBFO News reached owner Tom Lombardo but he declined recorded comment saying they were asked not to discuss Jagger's visit. However, Lombardo did confirm that Jagger ate at the restaurant.

According to spotters, security was tight with bodyguards at the popular eatery. No one was allowed into the building with cameras and no cell phone photos were allowed.

Fans gathered outside of the restaurant to sneak a peek at the rock star as he left. He was quickly whisked away into a vehicle. The Rolling Stones' private jet arrived at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport earlier in the day. The Boeing 767 features the Stones' famous red lips and tongue logo.

The band is in Western New York for a Saturday night concert at Ralph Wilson Stadium. More than 50,000 people are expected to attend.
