Carroll Police Chief charged in domestic case

The Police Chief of a Chautauqua County town has been arrested after a domestic situation. Timothy Wright is facing third-degree assault charges in an attack on his wife. The 49-year-old Wright is the Chief of Police in the town of Carroll. He was issued a ticket after reports of his having struck his wife several times during an argument in April. The wife was injured during the incident.

Wright is due in court later this month.
