A head-on collision near Batavia has sent three people to area hospitals. Investigators report that around 6:30 last evening a car driven by 17-year-old Brandon Faucett was speeding along Lovers Lane Road. After cresting a hill, Faucett lost control of his car and collided with an oncoming pick up truck. Faucett and his 13-year-old sister were Mercy Flighted from the scene. The driver of the truck was transported to a Batavia hospital.
The extent of the injuries have not reported.
Charges in the case are pending.
