A state of emergency has been declared in the Town of Warsaw after heavy rains washed into the valley community overnight. Many streets are under water and a number of families report flooding in their homes. Warsaw Mayor Joe Robinson declared the State of Emergency to get access to state and county assistance with clearing storm drains and cleaning up after the flood waters recede.

Rains are expected to continue through the day today.
