Residents of Lucille Ball's upstate New York hometown of Celoron say they want to replace a scary looking bronze statue of the actress.
The not-so-likeness of Lucy was erected in 2009. The statue's face in particular is described as a "monster" by at least one champion of the cause to make a change. Others simply call it "ugly."
Shortly after the statue was installed, a Facebook page turned up called "We Love Lucy, Get Rid of this Statue."Celoron officials apparently would like to make a change but not cost is a factor.

The story has picked up steam in the past week with news agencies across the country featuring a photo of the figure and details of the story.
A Go Fund Me Page has also been established to pay for a new likeness of Lucy.
