Officials with Toronto's Sunnybrook Hospital are confirming that a recently admitted patient has tested negative for the Ebola virus. The patient is reported to have recently returned from West Africa and began showing symptoms that are consistent with Ebola. The patient was admitted to the hospital on Saturday morning and the test results were returned just this morning.
There still has not been a confirmed case of Ebola in Canada.
The virus has killed more than 10,000 people in West Africa.
