3 arrested for credit card fraud
Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested 3 people on felony charges in connection with stolen credit cards. Employees at a Batavia Rite Aid reported suspicious credit card activity. The suspects were identified and taken into custody near the store. All three suspects are in their 20's and all hail from Brooklyn. Their scheme involved using stolen credit card information to purchase gift cards that cannot be traced.
The trio is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail for each.
They are all expected to appear in court later this month.
