Members of the Kenmore-Tonawanda Board of Education have voted to "seriously consider" boycotting State mandated testing for third through eighth graders. The moves is aimed at protesting Governor Cuomo's education policies regarding funding and teacher evaluations. Meanwhile, Ken-Ton Superintendent Dawn Mirand did not support the matter. In a written statement, Mirand says the vote puts the district at risk for sanctions that would likely have a negative impact on the community.
