Blizzard to hit East Coast, but just light snow in WNY

WBFO News File Photo

A major winter storm is expected to hit the Northeastern Seaboard.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Tony Ansuini says the storm is forecast to drop two to three feet of snow from Boston to New York City, even Philadelphia.

Residents will also be dealing with hurricane force winds along the coast. Winds could hit 60-70 mph making it a full blown blizzard.

The forecast here for Western New York calls for 4-6 inches of snow Monday and Monday night.

Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 10 a.m.
