A number of locations in Western New York are sporting signs advertising gasoline prices lower than $2 per gallon. Three of those stations are on the Cattaraugus Reservation, and they include Heron's Landing, Doogies, and Signals. The price drop took effect on New Year's Day, but indications are that prices are not expected to drop much lower.
The AAA is reporting that the average price of a gallon of gas in Western New York is $2.82 as of today.
The national average is $2.22 per gallon.
