An Allegany County fire department was the target of vandals over the weekend.

Someone broke into the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company between Saturday night and Sunday morning and spray painted vulgar messages on fire apparatus and equipment according to the Clarksville Volunteer Fire Company, Inc Facebook page. The vandal also ruined turnout gear and helmets.

A note on the fire company's Facebook page indicates the department is currently down to just an engine and tanker in service.

State police are asking anyone with information to contact the State Trooper Amity barracks.

There is a $1,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the guilty party or parties.
