The Center for Inquiry is working with SONY Pictures in an effort to bring the controversial movie "The Interview" to Buffalo. The basis of the movie is an assassination attempt on North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. SONY canceled the opening of the film after theatres pulled the movie due to threats of violence if the movie played. SONY has also been the subject of a computer security breach that is believed to have emanated from North Korea.
The Center is planning to present the movie free of charge, but details still need to be worked through.
