Former Buffalo cop faces sentencing for abuse
A former Buffalo Police officer will be sentenced tomorrow morning for federal civil rights violations during an arrest. John Cirulli faces a possible two year prison term for physically attacking John Willet last spring, while Willet was already in handcuffs. Cirulli has pleaded guilty to a pair of misdemeanors and is lobbying for a sentence of probation.
Willet is suing Cirulli, the city and the police department.
